Although billed as a catch up, there is still plenty that needs doing today. Continued marketing of Beatle Mal for a start. We might even do a bit more filming of the play - we're planning an outdoor scene where Mal comes out of a freezing cold sea - better make sure Nik doesn't die for his art.
Also a bit of firming up of forthcoming projects for later this year (murder mystery in Omeath, Dickens in Love in London) as well as projects in the pipeline for next year. Oh, I better do some housework as well I guess! Who knows, if the weather holds off we might even pop down to our local hotel for a pint this evening!
A lovely review about Beatle Mal in Liverpool, good to see people 'getting' the play as well as the character of Beatle Mal himself. Also great to see our Sherlock Holmes project doing good business at the Leicester Square Theatre in London (next week the show transfers to the Kings Head in Islington - well done guys!)
Took some time out this week to see A Belfast Story featuring our very own Paddy Rocks (Visteon Ford Occupation play from last year). A flawed film which attempts to explore the present situation in Belfast. Interesting enough with some good performances but left more questions than answers. A bit baffling and far-fetched. Anyway, I'm no Barry Norman so will leave it to others to criticise the film more fully. It was just nice to go the flicks and sit in comfy seats and not the hard stuff which serves as theatre seating in many venues, old and new!
