The hospitality at the venue was second to none and the full-house audience was so convivial that it was a genuine pleasure to perform and even take questions after the reading. Well done Oliver and Anne.
On a serious note, it was important to give Graeme's play the best outing possible as he can now go away and let the reading sink in. Many comments were made about the play which Graeme may or may not take on board. However, the important thing to remember is that the play went on with a bunch of professional actors in front of a 'proper' audience and no matter what Graeme may think at the moment, the experience will seep into his being and help him become a better writer for the theatre. (I did say it was on a serious note).
