The show is tying up with the Beatles tour of the UK and Ireland in 1963 and bookings in both countries are going well. Most of the venues we approach can only offer box office splits with a few good ones being able to offer a modest fee. Our plan is to get through the recession intact and then clean up afterwards - a very big LOL there!
The differences between booking in the UK and Ireland are quite marked with Irish venues more dates in October than their English counterparts. There is also more flexibility with Irish venues and more of a willingness to take risks with new shows. And of course touring across Ireland is more pleasurable than slogging across the UK!
