Anyway '13 ain't been too bad a year I suppose. We started off with a tour of Cooley Women with Catriona and Denise and later Sinead. Looking at the diary we played in Kilmallock, Belfast, Newtownabbey, Milton Keynes and then Kilkee, Ballina and ending up in Derry. Thanks ladies for such an enjoyable tour.
Belfast Girl also had a bit of an outing with a Belfast production with Ronan, Sean, Robbie and Sinead followed by a two handed production in London with Mary and Ian.
Belfast also saw a production of Patrick Maguire's My Father's Watch which was a longer version from the one we did in London a year earlier with Tommy repeating his role at Pat ably supported by Lindsay, Helen, Fra, Ronan, Nik and Patrick.
Of course the biggie of the year was the Beatle Mal tour with Nik in the title role and with 30 bookings over 12 weeks across the UK and Ireland!
This year also saw us digress a little from the Irish theatre theme with a Sherlock Holmes play in London, as well as a murder mystery in Belfast using a lot of the guys featured above as witnesses and suspects. We had a brilliant Markham and Odell in Marina and Heidi supported by Tom, Lindsay, Anna, Aaron and of course Helen.
The year ended with a one-man Dickens in Love show at the Union Chapel devised by myself and Andy and starring Richard as Dickens himself plus a range of Dickens characters.
Phew! so let's see what next year fetched. Happy Yule Tide and here's to a good 2014.
