Script reading/appraisal/rehearsed readings

We now offer a professional script reading/appraisal/rehearsed reading service using professional actors.
We have been doing this informally for some years now but recently we have been swamped with scripts to read and appraise so we have decided to make the service more formal.
The reading fee for a full-length stage plays is £100 (less for a one-act stage play) with a full rehearsed reading at £300 for a full length play and £200 for a one-act play (fees may adjust depending on the size of the cast)
Reader's report will usually be a minimum of two pages for a short script and three pages for a full length play. Scripts can be sent by email or post (if post please enclose a SAE for return of script) and fees can be paid using the PayPal donation button below.
Rehearsed readings usually take the form of professional editing of scripts prior to a rehearsed reading, casting of professional actors and a reading in a professional theatre space where friends and family as well as members of the public are welcome to attend. We also invite theatre producers along as well.
The value of rehearsed readings lies in the fact that writers benefit from professional editing of work, having the work staged before an audience and having the benefit of advice and comments from professional actors. A number of our previous rehearsed readings have gone onto full scale fringe and touring productions.
Please contact us for further details.
